Job Title: Senior IT Project/Program Manager  

Plan, initiate, manage mid-sized to large, complex IT projects (IT projects include various application systems, platforms and computing environments (e.g. host based (cloud), web/distributed systems, client server, etc.) with a range of software, hardware, technology, tools, etc. Lead cross functional teams across platforms, applications, and/or business lines throughout SDLC. Manage, communicate, analyze, and problem-solve to maximize IT systems investments. Lead and guide the work of on-site and off shore technical staff such as computer systems analysts, developers, business analysts, data analysts, QA testers, and other junior project management staff members. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage; and monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards and cost targets are met.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer information systems, computer science, engineering or closely related field (or foreign equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible work experience managing a wide range of information technology projects; recent experience in Healthcare / Pharmaceutical domain is highly desirable.

Experience: Experience working in technical and project management roles throughout all phases of SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support. Working knowledge of iterative software development methodologies, such as Rational Unified Process (RUP) or Agile. Experience working with a wide range of enterprise systems, technologies and platforms, including CRM applications (e.g. Salesforce.com, Siebel), Oracle database, Java/J2EE technologies, WebLogic app server, LDAP, SiteMinder SSO, Unix and Windows operating systems, etc. Proven cross-functional team management experience including working with team members from departments outside of IT. Experience managing projects in a multi-vendor environment. Demonstrated project management skills, including experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, milestones, resource management, risk and issues management, and metrics.Experience working with host based (cloud), web / distributed, client server systems.

Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations to interact with clients and train users for short and long term assignments.
