Job Title: Clinical Data SAS Analyst  

Work closely with highly skilled and diverse group of statisticians, researchers and physicians. Provide technical & subject matter with medical & scientific clinical study teams in the development and activities related to data analysis and manipulation and medical data review for new and ongoing Phase I-IV clinical studies. Develop compliant and consistent Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) datasets for all assigned new and ongoing clinical studies work. Plan & establish approaches for coding programs and implement best practices for program documentation.

Support clinical data review projects using SAS programming. Design & develop programs that produce tables and listings with drill down function to patient level data solutions using SAS applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro language serving the full spectrum of data management needs for the clinical studies.

Interact with various statisticians, programmers and clinical staff supporting data review and analysis projects. Program & plan integration of databases from multiple studies or sources, develop, plan, and coordinate programming documentation including plans and specifications for complex studies. Perform, plan & coordinate the development, implementation and validation of new process technologies, macros and applications.

Prepare written reports (e.g. weekly status reports, project status reports, etc.) to disseminate information. Conduct and/or attend meetings to obtain and/or disseminate information regarding assigned projects, programs and systems. Maintain knowledge of global health issues, agency policies and regulations regarding the creation and submission of compliant clinical studies data, and keep apprised of emerging technologies.

Expected to address complex problems after performing an in depth analysis of the situation, taking into account multiple, diverse factors. Expected to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other lower-level personnel

Requirements: Master’s Degree in scientific, life science, medical or related and 1 year experience in the medical field or clinical medicine or related & SAS Base Certified. Requires travel to unanticipated US worksites
